The crows, now they were tricky ones. Crows never colonized but formed tribes and mobs that resided within all of the territories. They weren’t soldiers or sailors per se but highly skilled tool makers, scientists and alchemists. They were also metalsmiths and, as such, Crows were the weapons dealers of the Colonial Era.   Metal weapons and tools were rare and in high demand. Colonials, being rich and power hungry had a complicated, “on again, off again” business relationship with the crows. The colonials wanted nothing more than to acquire the technology to produce their own metal weapons and be able to disassociate from the crows, but they hadn’t been able to find the source of the metal which the crows kept secret. As a result the colonials remained beholden to the crows through much of the Colonial era.
